Careers

At Northwest Wellness in Thunder Bay we are a clinic that currently offers Individual and group counselling services in English or French, Parent Coaching support, and consulting services. Our team is our greatest asset. We’re building a practice where compassionate professionals can develop their identities, refine their skills, and create meaningful change in our community. As we grow, we welcome bilingual practitioners and trainees from diverse disciplines who share our commitment to safe, nonjudgmental, and culturally responsive care. Why Build Your Career at Northwest Wellness

Multidisciplinary Collaboration

Work alongside a team grounded in evidence-based, relationship-centred care. We collaborate across disciplines (e.g., social work, psychotherapy, psychology, assessment partners, psychiatry linkages, and coaching/consulting) to design comprehensive, client-centred plans that draw on our collective strengths.

Flexibility that Respects your Life

Choose a schedule that fits! We offer in-person sessions at our Thunder Bay office, virtual care across Ontario, or a hybrid mix. We value balance and autonomy, trusting you to shape your caseload in a way that’s sustainable.

Administrative Support

Focus on your clients while our admin team supports booking, intake coordination, reminders, and billing. When your workday ends, you can truly step away.

Secure, Integrated Practice Technology

We use encrypted, all-in-one tools for tele-therapy, documentation, online booking, and accounting, streamlining your workflow and keeping information accessible and secure.

Diverse Clinical Experiences

Serve a broad range of clients and presenting concerns, with opportunities to integrate individual, couple, and family work; groups and workshops; speaking engagements; supervision/mentorship activities; and community partnerships. You’ll expand your skills while contributing to stronger outcomes.

Values-Driven, Equity-Centred Practice

Our work is rooted in humility, cultural safety, and accountability. We honour the land and Indigenous communities we serve, and we actively advance equity and antiracism in our policies, partnerships, and daily practice.
